Posies Flower Truck

March. How?!

We’re having gorgeous weather here right now, and I spent most of yesterday outside—first at an organic farm for a story I’m working on, then at the St. Pete Indie Market with my friend Sarah. It was a day full of much-needed Vitamin D, good fresh food, and meeting some very cool local makers (and picking up treats—like Astatula’s amazing candles—from old faves). Florida really is perfect at this time of year.

Today is grocery shopping, meal prepping and getting ready for the week ahead. What’s on your Sunday agenda? If you’re in the mood for some reading, a few fun links:

I wrote this article about coffee and this article about tea.

I’ve been on the hunt for a clean perfume for awhile now, and orange blossom is my favorite smell in the world (I currently wear Le Labo’s Fleur d’Oranger but my bottle is down to the last dregs), so I’m really tempted to order a bottle of Behnaz Sarafpour’s Pure Neroli. It’s made of orange blossoms and distilled water and that’s it!

I loved this profile of one of my favorite bloggers.

Have you watched David Letterman’s new Netflix show? It’s wonderful.

Also wonderful, and on Netflix: the new Queer Eye.

Monica Lewinsky in the age of #MeToo.

Made me laugh.

Beet fettucine! (I love beets and these pink noodles are gorgeous.)

We make a version of this roast chicken every week, and it always turns out perfectly. Lately I’ve been throwing farmers market carrots and potatoes into the skillet and it’s just…awesome.

I’m obsessed with these sneakers (in gold).

My friend Tara and I booked a trip to California in September for a workshop with Cheryl Strayed and Elizabeth Gilbert (!!!). Much more to come, but in the meantime, I’m thinking I need this cheerful suitcase for the trip.

How to break up with your phone. (I need to take this advice.)

One of my big regrets is getting rid of my beloved Hunter rain boots (which of course I did before our ridiculous hurricane season this year), so I was thrilled to discover that Target will be selling them at a fraction of the $150 price tag.

I’ve been calling my senators and representatives about gun control since the tragedy in Parkland. This website is an easy way to make your voice heard—it provides names, phone numbers and even a script.

I LOVE orange blossom everything too. I’ve been wanting to try Le Labo but I am going to make myself finish my Jo Malone first. I love it so much I ALMOST have to stop myself from drinking it. Okay not really but omg I love it.
