Weekend Reading: 3.11.2018

It’s Sunday and it’s Daylight Savings Time, and for some reason I am the most confused person on the planet. I don’t know if it’s because the time change is throwing me off, or because the pollen situation is terrible here and making my head fuzzy, or because I spent a real long time stuck in traffic in the car yesterday, but here we are. So I’m going to spare you any of my Deep Thoughts an get right to the list of things I loved on the web this week. Enjoy the extra sunshine tonight, friends.

I always love looking at the Vanity Fair Oscar party portraits, and this year is no exception—some of them are stunning. (I miss you, Don Draper.) (Vanity Fair)

Speaking of, this photo makes me so happy. (Go Fug Yourself)

Overlooked: the stories of 15 remarkable women. It’s never too late to do the right thing. (New York Times)

Related: women are running for office in record numbers. This is excellent news. (NPR)

Ashley C. Ford on class anxiety. (Cup of Jo)

Gwyneth Paltrow interviewed Oprah on the new goop new podcast and it is just so good. Like, good to the point where I’m going in for a third listen with a pen and paper so I can write down O’s pearls of wisdom. (goop)

A healing bowl sounds like what we all need right now. (Pinch of Yum)

Really enjoyed reading about Carly’s meditation journey. (Carly the Prepster)

What is the perfect color worth? This piece on color forecasting is fascinating. (New York Times)

Speaking of color, I bought these earrings and they are so ridiculous and bright and make me so happy. (Baublebar)

An online magazine that only works when you’re offline. (The Disconnect)

Made me laugh.
